We are doing mostly home made for friends and family. I am making polymer clay eggs (thank you LCRT!) and waxy paper window stars. Hubby is making each of the kids, myself and his mother robot sculpture thingies out of found objects. Tonight he came out of the kitchen and said in all seriousness"okay, Scott, Chris, Angie, no one touch the robots!". It was hilarious. The robots will each either have a weird cage thing around it or a glass globe, so they are like weird little trapped creatures.

this one is still in progress.

We leave town on Sunday, so we had better finish up fast!

Thank you all for the kind compliments. It always seems like such a bright idea to give everyone handmade gifts, I tend to envision us leisurely working while laughing and having generally a merry time. In reality it always ends up a mad rush at the end right before leaving town.

Theresa -they are made from waxy semi-transparent paper that is cut, folded and glued together. There is a kit from hearthsong

It has the book of patterns and the paper. The stars really look much more complicated then they actually are.
