This is our coop before we decided to add on to it. We have 6 hens and decided to add to our flock. The orange and white posts show where the new run will be.

First, we went to Lowe's and spent way, way too much money.

Then he took off the old run and started building the new area.

Will you enclose part of the new run to be a coop?

..or maybe you're in a warm location?

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

We have an enclosed.coop portion already which is the blue and yellow part. Before winter we always cover all hardware cloth with plastic sheeting. That way the chickens have a nice, snow free area. It also helps give them their wind free area.

..or maybe you're in a warm location? We live in Northern Michigan, so nope!
