Our Coop and Run are ALMOST DONE! -pics

I converted an old playhouse that my kids had when they were little. I framed in and used HC to fence in the front porch area, and added an 8x16 run off the back. I got the roof built and roofed this weekend, and got my doors built. I will add those once I finish up.
Take a look, and let me know what yall think. Still need to build a roost inside.
Been brooding my chicks in a brooder for the past few weeks, so I hope they enjoy it once its done!

Looks great did you use chicken wire on the run or hardware cloth there also hard to really tell looks to be chicken wire. You have to really watch for predators.

I used 1/2 x 1/2 hardware cloth on everything. No chicken wire whatsoever on this thing. I guess my cell phone camera created an optical illusion.
I lurked on here for about a month before I started, and decided to do it right the first time. I also buried hardware cloth around the run, a foot deep, and two feet out in all directions.
My coop has a solid wood floor, and I have covered all the windows in it also. That stuff ain't cheap either...After I bought a couple 25 foot rolls from HD, I decided the 100ft rolls online were a way better deal!
My first dozen eggs, better all be golden..
