Thanks, its funny you say well planned out, its actually a recycled dog house my husband built for our now 2 doggie golden retriever angels.

The 4 feet up to roof was the original dog house, it was 4x8, yes, an air conditioner used to be in that side window, he took 1/2 of the floor out and added 2 1/2 feet to make it so I could stand in it to clean.

I redesigned:p, he built.

We're happy with it and so are the girls

Thanks again

Do the girls like the "litter boxes" ??

The pictures were taken back in april before they started laying.

As time went by and I knew they were getting "ready" to lay, I could tell they werent exploring the "cat litter" boxes at all, I started worrying they would lay on the floor or ground, so, I did the only thing I could think of and I removed the tops to the litter boxes, from then on they got the hint, I dont know if they were just scared to go look in there or what but it worked

Also, they only use the box on the right, I have no idea on that one,and they also lay at all different times of the day.

If I had to do it over I wouldnt have spent $ on the cat litter boxes as we cut the back out of the tops so we could gather the eggs from the outside pull up door, and the tops are useless to use for my cats, so ,kind of a waste.
They probably would have done just as well with a cardboard box
