I don't know your situation but this has never been an issue for me. I have an auto door with a light sensor that automatically opens in the morning and closes at night depending on the light. The chickens are always in well before the door closes for the night. I have never had to put them up early. I think you will find that they will return to the coop at night themselves and you won't need to worry about retrieving them from the tunnel. However if you really had a need to get them, I bet sprinkling a little corn or scratch at whichever end you wanted them, would do the trick pretty quickly.Well, I'm still working that problem out. I will have to be able to get to them. So, maybe a hinged door every few feet? But it would have to be attached and lockable... Any suggestions?
