Our coop has a 22' x 23' netted run with two coops inside. We are using the deep litter method
Coop one 4' x 6', has roost for 12-15 chickens, a community tunnel nesting box. Plywood on three sides with a wire front ( we have hot summers)
Coop two, holds 4 chickens, will be mostly used as a grow out pen or mommy brooder coop.
The chicks got to spend a few hours exploring their run
