Can anyone tell me if this is an EE chicken? and by it's action I think a rooster. Could anyone tell me if we are right. It challenges all the other chickens, and is bigger then all of them.

thanks oh...and it's a month old

I have 2 EE's about 5 wks old. One was always a bugger and I suspected a roo as well. There was another post recently about EE's, and I believe speckledhen said the boys have 3 rows on the comb and the hens have a single row. Looks like ur boy has the 3. I already have a roo, so I'll to rehome my fellow.

we ordered all females (but we knew there was a chance of a boy)

Ye Gods, is that true!?! I too ordered only females but am aware of the chance of a boy, but if this is so, then there's a good chance I have THREE boys!!

The comb is broad with the three rows of "peas" on the pea comb very distinct, definite sign of a boy. He has a very nice rooster's pea comb. Here is one of my month old pullets for comparison:

The pullets will develop their combs much later on; the single ridge is just as chicks.
