Wow they are lovely, have not seen them before.... I would love them!

McMurray hatchery sells them, but in orders of 35 and I don't need/want that many lol.

I haven't caught them yet. Last I saw they were on the other side of the neighbors house. I was hoping they would hear my chickens and come back over here. I should have caught them when I had the chance darnit!

Now I am kicking myself for letting them get away.

Several guys DH has talked to today have told him those must have been someones pets because wild Chukar aren't in our area anymore. They tried a few times to reintroduce them, but predators wiped them out too quick.

I hope they come back to my yard before someone catches them for dinner!

Well the female was in my front yard this morning and had been running up and down the street while I was getting my DS on the bus. I was able to corner her slowly, she didn't seem like she really cared and I put her in a cage. I put the cage in the same spot we first saw them in our yard and I am hoping she will call him. I haven't seen any sign of him though. Hopefully he didn't get injured or anything and they just got scared and separated. I am watching for him closely and have scratchgrains in a pile at the end of my driveway to coax him if he is on the road.

I was pretty sure I heard both of them chattering this morning while we were chasing our dogs that got loose. Its been an adventurous morning lol.
