I'm not particularly religious but I do believe in prayer, or collective intent, or whatever you want to call it.
My grandmother, the most important person in my life, has to have surgery this week because her breast cancer has come back.
I *think* she's going to be fine, it doesn't look like she will have to have radiation or chemo. She had cancer a couple years ago, and had to do radiation, and I have never seen somebody make it into such a non-issue. We wouldn't have known that she was sick if we didn't know, that's just how she is.
Her doctor said that although the tumor is malignant, it doesn't look like it has spread, and once it is gone, all should be well.
That better be the case, because anything else is incomprehensible to me. This woman raised me, she is absolutely my best friend, and she is going to be ok because that is just how it has to be.
If you guys could float a bit of hope out to the universe with me, our family could really use it right now.
