I talked to her earlier and told her about the BYC family, and she said to let you know that she is thankful for your prayers and that you guys are sweet

Her surgery is Friday, she comes home Saturday, and she's very positive about the whole business.

Prayers being sent! I was in your situation 5 yrs ago with mine, simaler story, she raised me too! I'll be praying for her! Grandma's are tough old birds!

Grandmom's surgery was smooth sailing, they got everything bad, and the surgeon said her lymph nodes look clean!

The biopsy on the lymph nodes comes back Tuesday, but he said he expects it to be fine. AND...no chemo! Short course of radiation like last time, but last time she didn't even notice beyond the inconvenience of having the appointments.

She was bragging a bit to her doctor about you guys, she thinks my "chicken friends" are the coolest thing. She comes home tomorrow.
