Our family is completely devastated, our frizzle died!

We found her in a corner with a single puncture wound to the side of her head. There was feathers throughout the coop. A couple of chunks of feathers seemed to have skin I didn’t notice anything but the puncture wound on her body. The puncture wound is a small and deep wound. We are completely heart broken and don’t know what would cause this. We live in a residential neighborhood with few predators.

That's very sad. Where are you located in the world?
There's predators lurking everywhere, even in residential areas.
If you have other chickens, then you will want to make sure they are secured at night.
