I just planted three bushes this spring, and it said in the instructions not to expect berries for at least 3 years, and you need to "prepare the bed" for a year before you even plant. Wish I had known that . . .but they seem to be doing ok, just hard to keep the weeds out of them, we have soooooo much rain you sink up to your knees and the weeds are getting everyone's garden. I am worried that my strawberries are going to get choked out; going to try to work on them a few at a time this week.
