The very first egg laid by my 18 week old RSL looked BIG , especially for a first egg. So DH cooked breakfast this morning and look at the egg in the middle!! TWINS LOL

The egg in the upper right is a store bought to compare yoke color.

WOW NEATTO!!!!

IF by chance they were to develope, they would never be able to hatch out, for a chick needs its legs to move around the egg and zip and in the meantime the veins in the egg would be draining into the chick at the last minute.

My first two eggs were double-yolkers, and since then- none.

Congrats on your eggs

My cornish cross has been laying regularly, every day or every other day. Last week she went two days without laying, and then the next egg was humongous! Like yours, it was a beautiful double-yolker. Yum!
