Our first egg from our breeding trio of Narrys!

Well we got our first egg today! Stoked. Laid in the nesting box I built!

Since my tom has been mating my hens I am assuming it is fertile, so I took it out of the nest (it was dark) and replaced it with a chicken egg of the same color. I have it in a room that is a constant 60f, if I wait until there are a dozen or so before I incubate them will this be an ok place to store it/them until I'm ready?

Yes, 60 degrees is a good temperature to store eggs. A fridge is too cold.
