Our first egg got pecked!

We got our first egg today, my daughter was SO excited. It seems someone pecked the bottom. Should we feed it back to the hens or throw it away? I've tried looking online, it seems everyone thinks differently...

No don't let them have it dispose of it and get your girls some oyster shell just my opinion....
