Our first egg!

Our 19-week old australorp laid her first (and our first) egg this morning! I want to shout from a mountain, but I don't have a mountain, I have a chicken forum.

We also have a RIR at the same age, and an australorp who's about two weeks older (she better start pulling her weight )

So fun! We feel like proud parents!

So cute congrats! I got my very first ever from my little silkie about a month ago. All of her eggs have been that size. I don't think mine will get bigger, though yours certainly will
