Our First Hatch of black australorps and easter eggers

Chick Number 4 suddenly appeared too! No pips, cracking or even peeping and all of a sudden, there it is! This one came out of a green egg so has to be a mix of ee and black australorp, but looks a lot like a blackie, don't you think?

Here's a pic of the first two that hatched ... mostly fluffed up and being buddies.

There's another green egg rocking. Come on, chickies, you can do it!
 
I love my EEs ... but yeah, two of them are little escape artists! That's ok ... I'm hoping having part black australorp blood in them will make them too heavy to go over my fence!
 
I just read somewhere on here that when a roo with a large comb gets frostbite, it effects his fertility. My black australorp roo (who "fathered" all of my current chicks hatching on this thread) has a lot of black on his comb and some on his wattles, and will probably lose most of them.

That may mean I won't have many fertile eggs from his in the future. Anybody have thoughts about this?
