Our first hatch!

My sister-in-law has been incubating our first quail and the first one hatched! We are so excited and I feel like a new mom again! Just wanted to share!

Thank you! They sure are cute (other than the funky feathering going on now!) I am really proud of us because one had splayed legs and curled toes and we managed to fix both! Today was its first day without a bandaid holding his legs together and what we called a "birkenstock" on his foot that still had curled toes. Everything looks fine! Now we have to figure out what to do about wing clipping... When, how, etc. Some of these guys look like they are ready to take off any day now. Any tips?
