It's still very warm here so we decided to take the babies on their first outing for a little while today. Only one minor mishap. Our white EE discovered she could run through the fence to keep from being returned to the brooder. But I was prepared. I waited until I had another adult hanging out with me to take them outside in case I had to hop a fence. Anyway, here are some pics! (Thanks to my junior photographers who reluctantly manned the camera after I wouldn't let them "hold the chickies" anymore.)

Finally, the junior photographers getting to hold the chickies one last time before they returned to the brooder. (Note: Rita is in the background in "time out" after her Chicken Run attempt. She seems to have about as much respect for timeout as my son does!!!)

Thanks! Yes, they are triplets but they belong to my best friend. The girls were much more into the chicks than my son, who is only interested in the chicks when meal worm wrangling is involved.
