Waiting to see if we get our 4th Egg today?? Only one out of 6 Pullets have started laying as of yet... I am wondering when the other 5 will follow?

Well our RIR are 19 weeks old now and 3 out of 6 of them have started laying ... We are SOOOooo excited..

Hello and Welcome. I am soooo excited for you. I am waiting for my chickens to lay eggs too. Though my EE's are only 14 weeks, and JG are 12 weeks so I guess I have to wait!!

This will be the perfect place for you! We all love our chickens . Congrats on the egg! I remember my first egg... it was really tiny too . In a couple of weeks it'll be more regular sized!

These are the eggs we have collected in a weeks time in the above photo.... Today we got 3 eggs (Picture below)...a really small egg, a large one and an XLarge one . We can hardly wait until all 6 of our girls are laying.. I still feed the the Starter Food at 19 weeks.. I am just now adding to it 5#'s of Layena to 25#'s of Starter and a hand full of scratch for a treat later in the day...I don't wanna bring on to much of a change in their diet with them just starting to lay. : )

Cluck 5... You are going to be Soooo excited when you look in that nest box in about another month or so and see that first egg... : )

My EE pullet was born in March, so she's about 6 months old now. She recently started squatting when I go to pet her/pick her up so it should be any day now I think. I have a Welsummer, a blue copper Marans, and an Asil who are about 3 to 4 weeks younger.

I'm awaiting an egg from my RIR... I got her in late March ( I think?) she has a nice red face,and a big comb! (No not a rooster!).
