Questions on the basics of turkey care. We just got these little ones today. Not sure what breed would love to know. We currently have them in with black copper maran chicks.

Questions on the basics of turkey care. We just got these little ones today. Not sure what breed would love to know. We currently have them in with black copper maran chicks.
I can only tell you they don't look like a Red bourbon my guess would be maybe a Narraganset.

The turkeys will be easy to take care of. Feed them game bird crumbles or high protein chick starter and switch them to layer pellets when they are old enough. You can keep them with chickens, but there is a chance that they will get sick and die from a disease. That said I have had good luck with keeping turkeys in with my chickens.

Those look like my Narragansett poults. They will do much better in my experience if you leave them with the chicks. They will mimic what the chicks do such as eating and drinking. If you keep them by themselves, you will need to make SURE they are eating and drinking.

They look like bronze standard or maybe bronze broad breasted

I don't know if anyone will be able tell for sure what kind of poults they are. The only for sure thing is the poults will not be a solid color.
