Your goats butt looked a lot like mine in the thread "perpetual pregnancy" (take a look) and I think I waited like 2 weeks before she kidded. I felt her ligaments and I felt them every day until the day she had them then I really couldnt feel them anymore. They really do stand away from everyone when they are ready, but mine didnt show really any other signs. Both of mine had their kids in the afternooon if that helps at all. Good luck, I hope you don't have to wait as long as I felt I did!

She does look like she is getting close. Can you lock her into a stall where you can keep a closer eye on her and maybe feel her ligaments?

well we checked her ligs late last night and if you push deep you can feel them. They are not as stiff as they were before the felt like a rubberband stretched as far as it would go but now they have a little movement side to side . Still nothing yet I'm just leaving her alone and looking out the window in the mornings and looking in the evenings when we feed.

I don't mean to steal your thread, but if I can ask a quick question...my boer nanny is not supposed to be pregnant according to the man I bought her from. But her bag is getting bigger, and she seems to be filling out quite nicely. I don't know much about goats, yet, but sometimes it looks like there's movement in her sides. Could something other than a kid be causing these symptoms?? Thanks, and good luck with your kidding.

According to the man, the two males he has were castrated surgically. I have one yearling, Billy Jack, that belongs to the nanny that is looking preggers.
