Our Great Dane killed a bear!

I was thinking to myself "wow-i should get one of those dogs" because we had a bear in the yard 2 nights ago next to the coop before hubby scared it away!!

I just had to look!!

So do bears eat live chickens??

Our wolfhound has killed many bears that looked so much like your bear as well as a few bunny's, and a huge duck. The carnage was just to wide spread to take pictures but now I regret not taking pics.

I just couldn't show that photo of carnage to my Golden Retriever. She has been eyeing her stuffed polar bear with distrust lately. I would hate to come home to an imploring expression like that!
