our hen trying to dry out after a chilly rainy day :) pic:)

today when I went out to the coop this hen was laying in the nest box. She was soaking wet because it rained all day. She was taking one peice of shaving at a time with her beak and throwing it on her back as if she was trying to cover herself and dry out. I felt bad for her so I took a handful of shavings and covered her up. She loved it.. stayed there for about an hour and layed an egg
