Almost three years ago we started a combined animal rescue and wildlife habitat. As of today's post, we have succeeded...... Rescue and farm animals living in harmony include donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, turkeys, chickens, ducks, guineas and peacocks. Included is a habitat for squirrels, birds, butterfies, ladybugs and mosqitohawks, too. Originally we had predator problems (coyotes, hawks, foxes, racoons, and skunks). NOW, Fixed. Three years work but SUCCESS.

I really want to thank anyone and everyone that we read suggestions from. It was a farming community effort that allowed us to accomplish our goal

That is so awesome! I would LOVE to do something like this! How did you get started? Is all the money out of pocket or did you find grants and such??

My wife and I are very blessed. We both worked hard for a lot of years, stayed at the same job and secured good pensions. We opted not to travel or give our money to other big entertainment business. We own one of the best pieces of land that God ever made, so we chose to spend our money in helping those who often can't help themselves.
