Our introduction to keeping chickens, the high's, the lows and pics of our journey.

Coco and her brood of three. One hatched two days ago, one hatched yesterday morning and one hatched late last night. Mum took them outside today to sit in the sun. Already the older one is chasing flies and other insxects and running away with its catch so no-obe else can get it. So far I've had to 'rescue' a dozen bits of black wood from its wee beak./ Anyhting black seems to be instinctive to eat. it also managed to catch a slater (woodlouse) and promptly ate it. An inquisitive wee thing already. I'm thinking maybe a male as they tend to be more forward when young

Excuse my incessant chatter, I can't seem to NOT talk when videoing

Wow. A flight to and from New York City, followed by a week of 12 hoyr days, and I missd out on the photo flood. Lol.

Beautiful critters. My daughter begged me to get rabbirs, but I am allergic, so only chickens, cats and dogs for me. And by dogs, I mean darn near the smallest, practically ugliest chihuahua many have ever seen. But he's my baby.

Babyfoot - adorable- Chatter and all, lol! She looks like a very good mama. I don't usually get to view the videos because they don't play on my phone but today I'm at work - slow day. ;)
