Yeah, the chickens are kept in water all the time. They get only the best, Finnish tap water. Ours comes from lake Päijänne, and in laboratory testing it consistently does better than Evian. But still, I'm amazed how much seems to come from their food.Water consumption should increase once laying has commenced . Just make sure they have plenty of clean fresh water so you don't have impacted crop issues in the future. Some reading for you Felix.
