Our Ladies

So thought I would share a pic of our ladies. They were born on St. Paddy's day so my DW is going to come up with all Irish names for them. Coop and run are still a work in progress. I'll post pics of those as I build them.

My thoughts are they will be ready for the coop at 8-9 weeks. If anyone thinks that is too soon or late I would certainly like to know.

Also I do have a screen for the other half as well. Just had it off for filling the water and food. Storm screens work real well for covering the tub.

So far only one is named. The white one is a Light Brahma (we were told at Farm and Fleet) and is getting the feathers on feet. So Irish word for feather is Cleite. The rest we are just waiting to see how they turn out.

They'll be ready to move out sooner than you anticipate. Assuming fairly consistent and above freezing temps, 5-6 weeks is a pretty safe bet.
