Our flock we bought as chicks mailed from MPC over the summer have started laying!!! Guessing by egg color it looks like our bantam polish and EE are the first culprits.
I missed seeing the minty blue and green eggs in the nest boxes, so I’m glad to have them again—except our flock is all bantam now so they are super small!
Next spring or summer, we hope to add welsummer, porcelain d’Uccle, Cochins, olive eggers and more silkie bantams to our flock
