Oh you don't have too but very nice to offer. They have some real maple syrup at walmart not sure where it is from.....I think canada.

Eta: I just noticed op is in canada so it probably is from there.

is the stuff that says "REAL" maple syrup really real? lol..I often wondered..there are lots of things w/claims ya know..

I think it would be fun to do...just to do ya know...

seriously is it just a maple tree and a tap/bucket and let it go??

Real maple syrup is a lot thinner and way more expensive then other syrup sold at the grocery store. They do have real at most grocery stores.

Yes Woodmort, it is the later...

i guess I'm just excited with the outcome.

We boil our maple sap, on an outside propane burner. (It gets the inside too sticky to do it in the house..)

So simple, and I think it's healthier then the store bought version
