Our mobile coop design and vlog

Nice vlog vids, not too much yakkin' ;)
I don't like the folks who do 15-20 minutes of talking,
and only have about 7 minutes of real info.

Would like to hear an update on tractor after a year of use.

Do you get much snow down there?

Have you put a few of your older birds in the tractor,
to see if adult chicken poops all go thru 1" mesh?

Roosts on floor might be risky for raccoon reach thru's.
They can get their arms thru 1".

Any concerns with them roosting in the nests once they are opened?
Because as you probably know, they like the highest place possible to sleep.

Suggestion for other vids:
More info on pasture netting, if and how it's powered.
Do you use a tester on your netting to check voltage?

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that there's a lot of folks who drone on forever. Im trying to keep them rather short, informative, and somewhat entertaining.

The past few winters haven't been too snowy, but it still gets plenty cold here. I may close in the sides more for the winter to be more of a wind break.

The birds are pretty much fully grown now, and haven't had a problem with poops falling thru the hardware cloth.

The raccoons might be able to reach thru the 1" cloth a little bit, but I'm not too concerned about it. They will have to get thru the electric fence first.

I am concerned about them roosting in the nesting boxes, we will have to see what happens. Im planning on moving the step bar closer to the boxes to discourage roosting on that bar. Thinking about possibly putting curtains in front of the boxes as well.

I could do a vid on how the fence is powered, and why i chose a plug in energizer vs a solar one. I've been testing the fence regularly using the tester provided in the kit from premiere1, seems to work fine for a cheap tester.

Poops don't enlarge until they start laying IIRC,
then those cute little 'pullet poops' are mere memory.

I've got a hinged cover on my nest bank, very handy.....couple pics in this post.
