I am in Illinois. What I wouldn't give to have you come up and build something just like this for me. I'm afraid our coop will look something more like what the Beverly Hillbillies would have had. Haven't built it yet, but hubby is a farmer, not a carpenter. This is so beautiful. Your wife and "the girls" are very lucky.

Great coop! That is a lot of hard work and skill.

I wish we (hubby and I) could do something like that but we have trouble trying to figure out how to cut floor tiles to fit around objects. It's weird because both my dad and hubby's dad can fix or make just about anything. The skill must sometimes skip a generation.

Since there seems to be a long line building up for dibbs on your coop, we will just have to wait for our kids to grow-up (edit: so they can build us one)! I think I'll wait a little while before I tell them!!
