So here’s our new coop(121sq.ft.) we completed last week. Most of the material is reclaimed from a coop I helped my grandpa build over 20yrs. ago including the door and hinges. Currently working on our 500sq. foot run that will be used if we’re planning on being gone for a day or so. Also a few pics of our golden laced wyandotte, bantams and chicks. We used the 1/2” hwc for the aprons and windows. Currently we only have the 4 grown chickens and 4 grown bantams but we have 22 chicks which are 3 weeks old that we will be transitioning to the coop later on. 5 of those are bantams as well. I think we may build a separate coop for the bantams? 2 of the bantam roosters do not get along so I’ll be removing their spurs to see if they can settle it. We only had the 2 Japanese bantams that got along great but my wife got a third, the Old English with the hen with 4 chicks.

Keep in mind that chicken wire is only meant to keep chickens IN, not predators OUT!!
