Just wanted to share this. We’ve been working on it for months after work. It’s the mini replica of another bldg on the property. 4’x8’ with cedar siding and a slate roof! we’re going to have a total of 12 in here.

That looks mighty putty.

You might need more ventilation. Also, they might pick at the OSB board.

If you are planning that 6 will roost on the middle rung and 6 will roost on the lower rung, be prepared to have 12 roosting on the upper rung. If they do that you could just move the food and water to get two roosts the same height with 18" between them.

Is that window the only ventilation? You really need more up high, unless there's some we're not seeing.

Depending on what breeds you have your roosts may end up being problematic being so low vs the nests - I guess that's a storage area up top? I'd maybe think about having the roosts up there and use that shelf as a poop board instead. Tuck the food under that area and move the water outside or further from the food, as you may end up with moldy food due to the 2 being too close. Also the placement of the feeder and waterer should be further from the wall so birds can access from all sides.
