Our New Flock...Tolbunt Polish?

I havent found this breed to be hardy. Been trying for a while. They dont free range well. They are normally skittish and active and the crest keeps them from seeing predators.

That is our concern too. She is off in her own world most of the time. She even got caught in a horrible thunderstorm last week by herself as the other girls had gone into the coop, and she didn't even think "hmm...looks like rain!" haha We are going to pick up a young rooster today, hopefully he will help to keep her and our other Polish safer than they would be without him.
