Our new flock...what kind are they?

obxWaMi: 1st pic is the one on the right in the 2nd pic and the legs are yellow and black

If ti has yellow/black leg it could be a Black Giant cross but it could also be a sex-links that just ain't showing red lacing...
I don't know if it a glare or not but it looks like it has red under its neck and up on its head.
Does it?

Here is another picture of the chicken that I consider the all black one. In the original size of this photo you can see what appears to be reddish colors like an undercoat, but just watching her walk around I don't see it. She looks inky black with bluish shiny places on her feathers to me.

If there is red in the feathering then I would think she was more a cross or a sex-link than a Australorp, black Giant or black Orpingtion. Now they could have any of those breeds in the cross but I don't think she pure.. Australorp, black Giant and black Orpingtion shouldn't have red in them or yellow legs..

Yeah you can see the red better in that pic. I say Black Sex-link. I've had them mostly black like her before. You've got a pretty little laying flock there. A good looking bunch of young girls.

Arizona-- yes, that's what my girls look like too!

Thanks to everyone who helped me figure this out, not that it really made any difference what kinds they are. We love having them all.

So, if I got this right, I have 3 black sex links and 3 reds. Right?

cheers
