I named her Sahara because she reminds me of desert sand

I just love her! We got her because the people who had her got new chickens and she was being picked on and wasn't able to eat. She's older than our 2 cayugas so she's laying. The guy who gave her to us said he was just feeding her chicken scratch. Now that she's with us she's being fed Purina Flock Raiser and of course peas, corn and grapes and free grazing. Should I give her a sort of food for ducks who are laying eggs? Like my namesake...I'm new2ducks!

I feed my layers FR and put a bowl of oyster shell close by. Congrats on your new duck, sounds like she will have a wonderful home.
