Sophie is settling in fine. She has been trying to walk herself with her own leash. Cracks me up. She also met one of our cats ( Ivan the Terrible). She hasn't met Dotty the pyscho buff orp yet. The chickens should be an interesting encounter.

We don't get to get our pup until tomorrow after all.

The deputy we are getting him from had to work today.
I did get to see him though. He needs some weight put on him. People around here! They feed them any ol' thing and then are like, why isn't this dog putting on weight?

She is so cute! I am (in a good way) jealous of you and gritsar getting GSDs. We want one so badly as our GSD mix is 12 yrs. old. We just don't have the $ right now. They are really expensive around here.

I can't wait to see pictures of her and your Dane.

I'll post as soon as I can. I she has been introduced to Riley, but he's so big, and doesn't realize it. He'd accidently step on her.

Some plain yogurt ( either homemade or Dannon ) won't hurt him. Just mix a quater cup in his food. Sophie's still on soft food, but gets yogurt mixed in.
