We finally finished our new chicken pen run whatever you call it. My girls free range most the time but since we had the what we think was a hawk get our Daisey we have to keep a more watchful eye out. So when we are utside where we can watch out better its ok but when we have to be inside for inside things we put them in the pen. So we made a bigger one since they would have to be in it more. The size is width 10 ft. height 8ft length 20ft. Its just the two girls Rosey and Petunia right now. We do plan to get maybe three more. I hope that is plenty room for them. We wanted to make it forty feet or at least 30 but that didnt work out. We ran out of chicken wire and money ha ha. anyway here are some pictures (it can get expensive when you are buying pressure treated wood like we did)we wanted it to last for many years. The first one we built was just odd and end wood and some of it was rotting this year and we just built that one last year. so needless to say we wanted this one to last. Of course I still have some things I want to do to it as to beautify it. I want to put some hanging baskets and a few country signs on it. I cant wait to get that fixed up on it. I love it!
