I received our 3 new Sebastopol goslings today. I got the from Celtic and they broke the record of the fastest delivered gosling ever! Celtic sent them out yesterday afternoon and they were here before noon. WOW never had anything shipped and make it that fast. I was in shock!

I went to open the box and it was like fort knox at how good it was taped up. Took me a bit to get it opened up. Boy does she make sure the box does not get opened and arrives safely....

Took some pictures right after I opened the box. As you can see they were all healthy and fine. My Dane Kindra had to make sure to inspect and make sure all were fine.
The gosling had plenty of food still left in the box.
The goslings were in super healthy condition. I am super pleased with the goslings. They have some nice heads on them at this point, nice oval bodies. Can hardly wait to see them feather out. Also to see if curly or smooth breasted..

I have 2 beautiful Buff females and 1 solid grey male split for buff. So hopefully this will be a start of my Buff breeding program.
I will get more pictures after they have settled in.

settled in.

Here are pictures of the goslings I got from Celtic Oaks.
Finally took some pictures of the 3 goslings 2 Buff females and 1 grey gander split for Buff. I had them take their first bath since I got them Thursday and wanted them to settle in before I bathed them. Went in and put some warm water in the sink and slowly put them in there. At first they were in panic. But I reassured them it was fun and started putting the warm water on them. Finally the said OH fun let clean and had a blast playing in the water. Grabbed a towel and put all three in the towel to start help drying them. Took them in my bedroom got a fresh towel after drying them some with the first towel. Boy were they enjoying the attention. So I turned on the hair dryer on low and heat to let them get use to the noise. Once they found out that warm nice air came from it the stood there letting me blow dry them. It was so cute how when I moved them to dry a different area they just did what I said. They were cooing and just a talking to me. It was a great bonding moment for them and myself.

SO here are the pictures I took on my bed and NO my bed was not made.

Here are the goslings I got from Celtic Oaks after their first bath this evening. They were afraid of the warm water at first but settled down quickly to OH BOY water to play in. They had a blast having their first bath here. I wanted to wait so they would get comfy first. They cleaned up and I put them in a towel to start drying them. Took them and another clean towel in for them to dry on. Took the hair dryer put it on low to let them get use to the noise and they did great at letting me blow them dry even seem to enjoy it by cooing.
So here are pictures of them on my bed, bed not made.

Thank you Shellie. They did so well washing themselves in the kitchen and I too got a bath.

I was so surprised that they did not mind the hair blow dryer. But I first turned it on and let them get use to the noise first. Once they felt that nice warm air they just stood there as I blew them dry. Just cooing away. I was rubbing on them and they said ooh that feels good.

Thank you Shellie for sharing them with me......
I just love the color of the Buffs. The darker one is really a golden cinnamon colored.
