Cornish grow at a safe rate. They are a game breed and they're bloody cute when mature. One of my favs. Cornish X grow so quickly that their hearts can't keep up and they almost always have a heart attack at around 6 months of age. If you keep their growth in check, they can be kept as pets. And if you have a slow growing strain, there is no need to worry.
