All 10 birds making a buffet out of a Chinese Tallow (the trees that are in their yard) branch I pulled down for them. Maybe the chickens will be less likely to try to fly up there if I bring some of the leaves down to their level.

Probably a good idea if you want them to stay in your yard. Flying chickens get in strange places, many of them dangerous.

No particular reason...we just feel we're more chicken people than duck people. I think my husband and daughter are planning on getting more chickens/chicks soon.
