Our two hens and one male usually roost up in trees right above our driveway .... which makes a mess and annoys me.

So just to spite me, they have taken to roosting on the roof of my Jeep.

And just recently they started flying across the street and roosting on our neighbors house .... that wasn't a fun conversation.

Have you tried starting up the jeep to scare them? Perhaps the noise from the jeep will scare them enough that they won't want to do it anymore.. Otherwise cage them up..

I would try that as well. Especially if you have a pretty loud jeep!

Timed to lock them up.. you got neighbors that close i would pen them up.
That's what we did.

Its a terrible shame though .... to take a bird used to roaming and lock them in a cage.

I think I'd rather find them a new home than make them live in a coop/run. It was so wonderful to see them free ranging, roosting in trees, finding their own food. Its how they were truly meant to live.

Get your peacock a Pergola! I had trouble with my male roosting on cars, he loved service vans that had ladders on top! I finaly bought a garden arbor-thing/pergola and set it at the top of the drive way. He LOVES it! Its high up and positioned so he has a view of his"domain" Has not set on a car since.

Actualy if you check out my username picture right here- you can see the white arbor across the drive-from Blue(sitting on the wall) They really just want good places to perch/ where their tail can hang - and they have a view of the territory.
