He brings the cats his toys. One after another he brings them toys to try and get them to play with him. When the cat(s) ignores him, he drops that toy, goes and gets another one to offer them.
My cat is right now sitting here next to my desk with a whole pile of puppy toys in front of her and looking at me like, Mama what IS that dog's problem?"

Our Mini-Aussie does the same thing. My daughters' cats hang out upstairs (behind a baby gate). Jack takes his toys upstairs, and waits for the cats to come play. When they won't, he'll drop the toy down the stairs, run down, catch it, and carry it back up. Silly Jack! Once in a blue moon, one of the cats will actually come over to see what's going on, just to keep him doing it!!

I just know the cats are laughing at him . . .

Our new kitty, KiKi will play with him for awhile, until he trys to pick her up by the head and carry her around.

Well, Grit, clearly your puppy needs a dog of her very own. Every good dog needs a dog.

(That actually is why I have two dogs. My original dog, Lily, loved playing with other dogs so much that I told her she could have a dog of her own once we moved out to the country. Lucy, the dog in my avatar, is Lily's dog and my Emergency Backup Dog.)

He's getting a sister, when money and time allows.

Come to think of it, maybe we shouldn't call the the one we are going to get his "sister", cuz ummm....that's illegal; even in Arkansas.
