I know how you feel

I lost my favorite girl last year and we buried her in the garden so this spring we can plant a lily above her.( she was always hiding in the day lilies)

Yep, this truly is the hardest part of raising a flock....It's been hard enough to make one want to quit raising a flock sometimes. However the good out weighs the bad and I'm sure she had a great life....that's why we do this eh?

Awww, I am so sorry about your loss. Its never easy! RIP Sweet Chicken. I just love the "note under her wing" That made me cry....how sweet.
