Click to expand... i have 2 hens that are 2-3 weeks younger than the other 3.. and about 1/2 of container of starter feed

Jul 16, 2016 Thread starter #7 BruceAZ Songster May 18, 2016 883 65 116 Valley of the Sun :) 3 eggs so far but it looks like only one of my hens is laying.. true.. it's getting bigger they are still on starter feed..but no problem with the egg shells thus far.. which is kind of interesting. i think i can keep them on starter feed until i'm done with the rest of the starter feed before switching over to layer feed.. i do let them free roaming around my backyard for 1-2 hours a day..so i think they got the calcium from somewhere... left to right -> day 3 , 2 and 1

July and August are the hottest months here..
