Out my window I see...

I think it's a fun idea for a thread and would love to see more people's pics. Here's a few I took today especially for those of you still buried under snow and expecting more to come. It really is spring in some parts of the US!

The view out the front of the house. Pictures however simply do not do justice to almond blossom season in the valley. You'll have to edit in your own bird song, buzzing bee's, smell of the blossoms and the soft rustling the oats make in the breeze.

This is out our front gate that somebody left hanging open!

A few of the girls and the rooster going after that first green in the pasture.



A common and pleasant view out my son's bedroom window! Add in happy clucking sounds!



And the farm dogs Nikki and Cody on duty on the front porch.

Oh my gosh...how beautiful is your world! I am studying to become a beekeeper and many of our clubs members have their beehives down there for the almond bloom. Thank you so much for sharing..I needed to see these pictures. Do you mind if I share them at our bee club meeting this week?

Thank you very much Cafarmgirl, there are a lot of new beekeepers in our classes and we are studying how the commercial beekeeper transport all their bees to different crops for pollination and how they were having some trouble down there due to the drought going on. It looks just so beautiful where you are at the class will be happy to see and hear that the bees are flying. Thanks again!

Yes, the drought is very bad here. But we've had a little rain this spring and the last week has been stellar weather for the bee's to get out and pollinate.

Out my window at home one can see rows of buildings on our street (mostly single-storey because there's no pressing shortage of land here, but the school has two floors). Out the window where I am now I see larger buildings in the city centre. Both scenes are dotted with trees, very green because it's the middle of summer The sky is also creepily blue for someone who's just spent the past month living somewhere smoggy (but inherently more awesome than this little city). Would be large by some standards (e.g. British) but that's because the population of the entire state is pretty much concentrated here, and there's not much else for miles in any direction

Lol, they do look so funny when it's snowing...if they venture out into the 'sun yard..er snow yard' and it is snowing they run all around for a minute or two trying to figure out what the heck someone is throwing...
I saw goldfinches here today for the first time this year..spring will be here soon. Thank you for feeding the wild birds.

Australia. It's been a scorching summer, but as previously mentioned I was somewhere else and I missed all the heatwaves Now temps are sitting around the high twenties, and it's actually bearable to be outside.

I like wild birds too, by the way. They don't need feeding round these parts though, if anything the plants in our garden grow better in winter because they don't dry up. The birds like to help themselves anyway, and there never seem to be any pears or apples left on the trees when it's time they ought to be full grown.
