I need some advice my almighty guinea friends...I purchased 1 male and 1 female (1 yr olds) last week. They have been penned up since then but I am dying to let them out to free range my 60 acres. They will still have their pen to come back to at night if they choose or can use the horse barn as they wish. When can I let them out and not worry about never seeing them again?

I think I would get a few eggs to incubate before I let them go then when they head out into the wild You will have some eggs to hatch and imprint with your Home area......just in case

Thanks...that's what I was afraid of. I've never incubated or hatched anything before so this would be an all new experience for me. I'm alittle nervous. Can you recommend an incubator for guinea eggs?

They almost certainly will fly away if you let them loose now.

They need at least a month in a pen/cage.
