Welcome Sorry to hear about the predator attack! Many possibilities, wildlife we expect to hunt at night or dusk/dawn will come out in the middle of the day if hungry enough.... Are you sure the chooks aren’t still out there, possibly just very spooked or injured? Not to get your hopes up but sometimes it happens. Many of us learned the hard way ..... Best wishes!

Cant be certain, and we held out some hope, but the video shows something definitely take down the rooster. Just too blurry to tell what it was.
