Outdoor Duck Pen shared with Giant Rabbits

Hi there,
I am going to be a new duck (4) owner in about a month, along with Flemish Giant rabbits (2).

We are in the process of converting 2 horse stalls into separate duck/rabbits dens that will have an attached outdoor pen.

The outdoor pen will be approximately 50' x 16', predator proofed.

Has anyone had any issues keeping ducks and rabbits together in the out door pens? We would like to make it one out door space and separate indoor spaces for night time.

Our goals is to accommodate the needs of both breeds, but the pen can be larger if we can utilize it for both species....

I wouldn't combine the species, I would just make separate runs as they have different requirements. Your ducks will make a wet run, and your bunnies will want to dig. It will also be a pain to get them into their own pens at night.

This is kind of what we were thinking. I will separate the 2 pens. Good thing is we can always add on later if we want more space for them.
All I read is how messy ducks are, I guess I will soon find out. =)
